  5. This Application is a port of JPEG Conversion Application supplied by the
  6. Independant JPEG Group. For terms and conditions that apply to this software
  7. see the Readme file in the archive Docs.
  8.  
  9. The source for JPEG is supplied with only a small change to egetopts
  10. and with the addition of an Archimedes Makefile. Other Makefiles have
  11. ben discarded.
  12.  
  13. This whole application took less than 1 day to port and build the front end.

  15. WinShell
  16. ========

  18. The frontend for this application is implemented as a WinShell script.
  19.  
  20. WinShell is still under development.

  22.  - The Winshell program/language documentation etc are copyright Keith Sloan.

  24.  - The WinShell program will be Public Domain.

  26.  - WinShell scripts must also be Public Domain.

  28.  - The winshell language documentation and specification are Careware and 
  29.    may not other wise be reproduced. ( They are not supplied with this application )

  31. Not being able to afford the C v4 upgrade, I am not sure if WinShell is a bit like
  32. DDE. I suspect that is lacks a lot of function. But then it is free and one can freely
  33. distribute. Its development was started over 9 months ago, but has been held up by 
  34. digresions into other applications

  64. Some options are still awaiting developments in WinShell.

  66. The memory requirement of WinShell is about 96k, but goes up with the number of icons/windows.
  67. This application needs 164k so maybe there is some mistakes in the window definitions.
